My musical journey took an unusual turn in the 90s when my interest in sounds and engineering collided with my desire to compose and produce better music. Creating sample libraries and virtual instruments became a passion. I was very lucky to be in a position where I could sample sounds for my musical projects, sometimes very expensive and grand scale projects, and share these instruments with other composers. All of you were my financiers and partners and I thank you for that. Interestingly, I learned a lot about instruments, composing and arranging through these sampling projects. It was an unusual path. I would describe myself as a reverse engineering, musical detective. Partnering with East West I’ve managed to win over 100 sound awards, and I still use all the sounds I have produced.
