My first keyboard was a Yamaha CS-10 analogue synthesizer. I was 12 and my band played Devo and Sex Pistols songs. I’ve used various analogue synths over the years, but the recent explosion of analogue synths caught my attention. My studio has become an analogue Mecca and it inspires me to write music that I would never write on the computer alone. Music is many things to many people. Analogue synths are expressive and organic in their own quirky way. I wanted to share a little bit of the positive energy they bring to my life.
